FBC: Firebreak Closed Technical Test Kicks Off May 15 With Cross-Play Support

Remedy has announced that it is hosting a Closed Technical Test for FBC: Firebreak, which is aimed at testing out the matchmaking and balancing.

The Closed Technical Test will run May 15 — 19, and will be available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. Sign ups are now available, and Cross-Play support is included allowing folk on all formats to play together.

FBC: Firebreak sees players thrust into the extra dimensional HQ of the Federal Bureau of Control during its darkest hours, where you’ll take on the role of a fearless first responder. Called to confront otherworldly creatures and reality-warping anomalies, it’s up to you retain the chaos or risk completely losing control of the situation.

Players can join up with strangers or friends to face each mission head-on for three-player co-op antics, where quick thinking and robust teamwork will ensure your survival as you battle supernatural entities across a variety of unique locations.Your Firebreaker’s Crisis Kit can be customised with specialised tools, grenades, support items and paranatural augments, and players can tweak them accordingly to suit your strategy and playstyle, complementing the effectiveness of your team.

FBC Firebreak is due out on June 17, 2025 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
